Kare "Corey" Backstrom

Kåre “Corey” Backstrom is the Life and Disability Insurance specialist at Driehaus Insurance Group. With over 25 years in the business, Corey works with both individual and commercial clients ranging from Individual Life and Disability Insurance to Buy-Sell, Key Person Coverage and Executive Insurance Planning. Corey started his career in 1987 with Met Life, before spending over 20 years with Schiff, Kreidler-Shell where he became a shareholder and Vice President. Corey holds both the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations.

Outside of work Corey enjoys traveling, is an avid clay target shooter and has been married for 33 years and has two adult children.
